About UK Tool Store

Independent tool advice, without the sales patter.

We help UK trades and DIYers find the right tool at a fair price. We don’t sell tools, so we’ve no stock to shift and no reason to push one brand over another.

What we do

Three jobs, done properly

Bring the range together

Over 12,000 hand and power tools, accessories and garden kit, sorted into clear categories and by brand, so you can compare like with like in one place.

Explain it in plain English

Voltages, brushless motors, bare tools versus kits, SDS versus combi. Our buying guides cut through the jargon so you know what actually matters for your job.

Send you somewhere safe to buy

When you’re ready, we link you to Amazon UK. They handle the order, delivery and returns, so you’re covered by a seller you already know.

How we choose

What goes into a recommendation

We don’t take tools apart in a lab, and we won’t pretend to. What we do is weigh up the things that genuinely separate a good buy from a poor one.

  • The specs that matter for the job, not the ones that look good on a box
  • What thousands of owners say in their reviews and ratings, especially after months of use
  • Warranty length and the battery platform you’re buying into
  • Value: whether a bare tool, a kit or a cheaper model does the job just as well
  • If a cheaper tool will do, we’ll tell you, even though it earns us less

How we make money

Straight answer: Amazon commission

UK Tool Store is a member of the Amazon Associates programme. When you buy something after clicking one of our links, Amazon pays us a small commission.

  • It never costs you a penny more. You pay Amazon’s normal price.
  • We don’t sell, stock or ship anything ourselves.
  • Prices and availability come from Amazon UK and can change, so always check the final price on Amazon before you buy.
  • Commission rates don’t decide what we recommend. The right tool for the job does.
