- DURABLE: The steel frame on the metal shelving unit is made from heavy duty steel and has powdered black coating. A solid 5 mm thick MDF board beam holds up to 175kg per shelf and 875kg in total (evenly distributed). Each shelf has been thoroughly tested and is very stable and safe to use. Cross braces under each shelf provide additional stability.
