Rough Grinding: All three grinding wheels are 80-grit, Grade M. They are suitable for grinding various metallic and non-metallic materials—such as alloy steel, ordinary carbon steel, hardened steel, and stone—and are used for the rough grinding of tools, cutters, abrasives, and parts. Note: Do not use grinding wheels that are cracked or damaged. Perform grinding, rust removal, and polishing using the circumferential surface of the wheel; do not use the flat side of the wheel for operations
Precision Polishing: Fiber wheels and wool wheels are suitable for the fine polishing and finishing of metal, wood, and plastic surfaces, as well as for tasks such as satin finishing, deburring, cleaning, and rust removal. Yellow cotton polishing wheels are slightly firmer and coarser, making them ideal for rough polishing, while white cotton polishing wheels are soft and fine, designed for mirror-finish polishing; both types are crafted from high-quality cotton to ensure a brighter, cleaner finish on the workpiece
